Higher Culloden Farm glamping pods provide a family friendly camping experience near the beautiful North Cornwall coast.
Check in time for your pod is from 3pm on your day of arrival. We will discuss your estimated time of arrival on booking.
We ask our guests to check out by 10am on the day you leave. This gives us time to clean and spruce up the pods before new guests join us.

General rules

We do not allow dogs on the farm, as the animals may not get on with other dogs. There is a great Kennels just over 1 mile away at Collans Cross 01840 213410.
For the safety of the wooden pods, animals and other guests, we do not allow smoking onsite.
No. Cooking is only allowed outside of your pod and away from the wooden decking. If using a camping stove then we suggest using a BBQ as a stand so as not to damage the grass/garden area.

Glamping pods

Each pod is ideally suited to 2 adults and up to 2 children.

There is a king size double bed (which converts to a dining table and benches) and two single beds. One of the single beds comes with a removable bed rail.

Hire of a travel cot for babies is available when booking.

(We will have to charge for lost and replacement keys.)

There is no heating inside the pods for health and safety reasons. However the pods have a double layer of insulation that keeps the pods warm in winter and cool in the summer. Guests regular comment about how warm and cosy the pods are overnight, even when temperatures drop low outside.

However we do have 'Device Charging Lockers' in the kitchen area, and camping lanterns to hire if necessary.

Yes, there is free WiFi access to the pods.

However, we do recommend that families try to unplug and power down, to relax and enjoy the countryside.

Higher Culloden Farm glamping Pods are hand-made from Norwegian Spruce wood, and clad in locally sourced Larch. They all have a double layer of insulation so that the pods can be used all year round.

We don't have any Yurts at Higher Culloden Farm. Yurts are made from canvas, so are more susceptible to rain and wind noise.

Here at Higher Culloden Farm we have livestock to feed, a play area and lots of space to ensure that the whole family can unwind and relax during their stay.

We are a short drive from the beautiful beaches of the North Cornish Coast and from the world-renowned Camel Trail cycle paths.

Camelford is also a ‘Walkers gateway to Bodmin Moor’, with Rough-Tor and Brown Willy (the highest point in Cornwall) accessible from the farm.

With such close proximity to the Moor, we are lucky enough to be within a Designated Dark Skies area, which means that being so far away from light pollution gives you one of the best places in the world to gaze at the stars.
