Camping checklist

What should I bring when I’m Glamping at Higher Culloden Farm?

Trying to remember all the things you should pack for your holiday isn’t always easy. This is why we’ve put together a simple camping checklist for you.

The Pods are hand made from wood, and are double-insulated so that they stay cool on hot summer days, and cosy in the winter months.

We would suggest considering bringing most things you would need for your usual camping holiday – without the tent and airbeds! The Pods sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children, and have two bench seats that convert to a double bed, plus an additional two single beds, with storage space underneath and some shelving. You’ll have your own lockable bathroom for the duration of your stay, so you can keep all your towels and toiletries safely stored in there. There are two shared kitchens, each with a fridge, kettle, microwave and kitchen storage space. There is also a picnic bench outside your pod. We also have charging lockers in the kitchens for charging phones and tablets, that can be hired separately for £1.50 per day.

Depending on the length of your stay, and the exciting days out you have planned, the below list may not be exhaustive, but will hopefully help you add to your packing list.

The seat pads in each pod serve as a mattress, so you’ll need to bring your own sleeping bag and pillow, or linen, duvet etc. Linen can be hired if required.

The list below will give you a good idea of things you could bring although it’s unlikely you’ll need all of them.

If you don’t have some of the items on the list, don’t panic. We have many of these available to hire or buy from the Farm Stores at Higher Culloden Farm and they can be ready for you when you arrive. Just let us know what you need when you book.
